Phishing is an electronic form of fraud, usually in the form of an email. The fraudulent email will appear to be a valid request for your personal information. In worst-case scenarios, the goal is to steal your identity. Unfortunately, as with any website or ISP, Voicenet customers are occasionally subjected to phishing email attempts by scammers. These scammers do their best to make it appear as though it's a legitimate email being sent by Voicenet management requesting sensitive personal information usually to ensure that your account remains active. Please be confident that Voicenet never emails its customers requesting information such as usernames, passwords, or account numbers, nor do most reputable businesses. Never reply to these emails.

Voicenet is actively taking measures to decrease the amount of phishing attempts making it to our customers' mailboxes but if you get one, simply delete them.
